In Our Class This Week...

Good evening parents and guardians, 
Be sure to check out our Shutterfly page for our latest classroom pictures. If you would like access, please email me for a special invite. Soon all parents/guardians will be given access to teachers grade books. I try to update my grades right away after the students take a test.

If you have any question or concerns please feel free to email me, text back to the reminders I set or stop by the classroom.

October Family Project: Pumpkin Book Character 
DUE THIS FRIDAY 10/27
(you may use a real or plastic pumpkin)

10/26: October Award Assembly

Kinder awards at 8am in the Multipurpose Room
Parents have been notified if their child is receiving an award.

10/31: Halloween/Fall Classroom Celebration
Sign Up sheet is available outside the classroom.
DRESS UP DAY:
Students may dress up as a book character (bring book that goes with costume).
No masks or weapons.

High Frequency Words (HFW: Same set of words last for two weeks. These words are meant to be read just by "seeing" them)

Math: Unit 3-Numbers to 10 (lessons 3.5-3.9)

Students will be able to count to 10
Count items up to 10 (with one to one correspondence), write numbers to 10, build up to 10

Social Studies: Halloween Around the World
Students will be able to state facts about how Halloween is celebrated around the world
