Please continue to reinforce the following hand signals and rules:
Hand Signals: (show me the number of fingers in the air)
1 finger: shoelace tied
Work with your child to learn how to tie their own shoes
2 fingers: restroom
Encourage your child to use the restroom before school, during recess, during lunch, during PE and after school.
3 fingers: water
Children may bring their own water bottle to keep in class, please LABEL it with their name
4 fingers: tissue
when needed, please ask student to sit back down right away
5 fingers: question

Here is a look into our week
The Kinder team will now be sending home Bi-weekly practice pages. Feel free to place them in sheet protectors or laminate them for multiple uses. These pages are meant to be fun and used at home to review concepts taught in class.

Sight Word Sundaes (HFW word list): Every time your child passes a word list, they will be given the next list to practice and will be given a part of their Sundae. Please color, cut out at home and return back to me. I will be hanging these up in the classroom.
