In Our Class This Week...

Great job on the October family project! I'm looking forward to the students sharing their pumpkins tomorrow. 

November family project information will be going home this Monday!

Also, please remember to turn in permission slip for our trip to UCR by 11/2.

In Our Class This Week...

Thank you so much for all your donations for our first Wacky Wednesday! The kids did a great job building their own haunted house to keep the big bad wolf out.

Tuesday: backwards free dress
Wednesday: wear favorite team's sport shirt/jersey
Thursday: dress in western wear
Friday: crazy dress/hair day

Scholastic Book Fair is also going on this week. Stop by the Nursery for books before, during and after school.

    In Our Class This Week...

    Happy first day of October! Our kiddos have learned so much and are continuing to do so. Many students have passed unit 1 of our HFW and are moving on to units 2 and 3, yaaaaay! Lets continue to work hard in the classroom and at home to get our kiddos ready for FIRST GRADE!

     Please continue to reinforce the following hand signals and rules: 

    Hand Signals: (show me the number of fingers in the air)
    1 finger: shoelace tied
    Work with your child to learn how to tie their own shoes
    2 fingers: restroom
    Encourage your child to use the restroom before school, during recess, during lunch, during PE and after school.
    3 fingers: water
    Children may bring their own water bottle to keep in class, please LABEL it with their name
    4 fingers: tissue
    when needed, please ask student to sit back down right away
    5 fingers: question
    question for me to give more information on

    Classroom rules:
