In Our Class This Week...

Good morning parents and guardians,

    DUE THIS FRIDAY 10/27

      In Our Class This Week...

      We are in need of the following for our classroom:

      Paper towels

       Please help me reinforce the following hand signals and rules: 
      Hand Signals: (show me the number of fingers in the air)
      2 fingers: restroom
      Encourage your child to use the restroom before school, during recess, during lunch, during PE and after school.
      3 fingers: water
      Children may bring their own water bottle to keep in class, please LABEL it with their name.
      4 fingers: tissue
      when needed, please ask student to sit back down right away
      5 fingers: question
      question for me to give more information on

      Classroom Rules:
      #1: Listen while the teacher is talking
      #2: Follow directions quickly
      #3: Respect others, respect yourself, respect your school
      #4: Raise your hand to speak or stand
      #5: Keep your hands to yourself
      #6: Keep your dear teacher happy

        School News:
        Our 20th day of school is tomorrow! Tomorrow will be an attendance challenge and house inductions. For the attendance challenge, all children present and on time will receive a free dress pass (to use on another day). Also, all students present and on time will be placed in a special raffle (first prize: house spirit shirt, second prize: VIP parking).
        House induction for Kindergarten will happen in the MPR at 2pm. All visitors must first sign in at the office.  After house inductions take place, parents may purchase student and adult house shirt. Please see office for more information. 
        PS. I am in the house of Amistad, the house of friendship. I cannot wait to see who will join me and represent the color red!
